Philip Shaw No.19 distinguishes itself from others in the region with its fullness of texture and depth of character, mirroring the Sauvignon of the Loire Valley with its dry character. This Sauvignon Blanc has seen a small time in oak barrel to round out the acid structure creating a great balance between varietal flavours; lively passionfruit fragrance, nuances of florals and minerals supported by a back bone of nettles and green capsicum. This is an elegant wine with lovely intensity and weight. Great with food.
