Very good depth of colour with a strong purple tint, the bouquet is all dark cherries and Chinese five spice, a hint of smoked meats, some balanced oak evident, the palate medium weighted and there are plenty of soft, fine tannins completing the picture. Slight alcohol heat on the aftertaste. Very attractive wine, and has a future if cellared a few years. 16 FEB 2024 Drink 2025–2034

Crimson colour. Aromas of small berry fruit, redcurrant, lightly spicy. The palate has great texture with cherry flavours. Smooth and delicate with a lengthy finish.
