The flavours have been magnified this vintage, adding to the wine's considerable power. It's still finding its footing. A comet of intensely flavoured dark cherries, the drizzle of kirsch, spiced rhubarb and wood-char via oak that's nonetheless integrated. However the palate is led more by acidity. Ripe sweet tannins, some grip and a brightness throughout make this ready now.
