Tempranillo leading the way (87%) in this co-fermented blend, amped with whole-berry pithy succulence. Soothed in well-seasoned French oak, thereafter. A wave of thirst-inducing tannins curb the gums. Floral, mid weighted and both white and red Szechuan peppery. An Iberian blend that impresses. To be frank, a rarity in the best sense.

Inspired by the original plantings, the Tempranillo & Touriga are now back in this historic vineyard, reviving the property of this rich history. 2021 is the first harvest in the this recent chapter for the vineyard producing a savoury and medium bodied dry red.
Both varieties where picked at the same time, allowing us to ferment the varieties together. Using old French oak barriques this softens and allows no influence of new oak characters maintaining a lightness to the wines.
Red fruit of plums and cherry, accompanied by subtle spice and a textural finish.
