A mid-vermilion with five-spice, clove and cardamon spice setting the aromatic timbre, this is a delicious shiraz. Fidelity, too to the regional voice of anise, camphor and pepper grind acidity. A richness of cherry fruit flavours, amaro and menthol are bound to the tannic twine, expanding across the palate to a long finish of considerable flavour and structural bite. This will age well.

The 2017 Four Winds Shiraz is typical of the Canberra region. It is soft and elegant, with bright red fruits and a cherry perfume, followed by notes of pepper and cloves. This wine is well paired with soft cheeses, duck and tomato based food, such as pastas and risottos.
