Dense purple black. The fruit is really quite classy here with good depth of fruit, thick textured, sensual dark raspberry. I think this can work with a lot of time – the tannins are well balanced, low acidity.

Aromas of plum liqueur, black raspberry, anise and plenty of earth are again trimmed in just enough oak to warrant pointing out. The suave, palate coating and equally concentrated flavors possess a slightly finer mouthfeel thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins shaping the less mineral-driven but slightly longer finish. This is really quite classy and a wine that should also age extremely well.
