Ooh – that’s a beauty, deep, fresh – gorgeously fruited and proportioned aromatics. Cool, finer textured, a little velvet texture again. Vibrant, layered fruit in the finish – great wine!
Bill Nanson Burgundy Report
A royal noble purple with a wealth of seductive fruit, as ripe as you could want but fortunately not more. Fills out the middle, firm structure behind, and yet still with a fresh mineral finish, and impressive length. Three to five years. Exceptional residual intensity.
89 points Jasper Morris MW Inside Burgundy
Very ripe fruit but more energetic frame in Le Court Vit; a Pinot with notes of crushed raspberries which remains crunchy and salivating on the finish.

Biodynamic. Single vineyard Pinot Noir. In the north of Saint-Bris, Le Court Vit has been in the family for centuries, but the vines were ripped out 60 years ago, and the land was given to an uncle. Around 15 years ago, Guilhem repurchased it and replanted mostly with Chardonnay, alongside 30% Pinot Noir, as would have been the case in olden times. This rocky vineyard is exposed southwest on a Kimmeridgian slope overlain with white clay in the Chardonnay parcel and brown clays for the Pinot. With just 50cm of topsoil and a spring beneath the vines, water is easier to access, something Goisot credits for this wine’s generosity.
