Light straw-yellow colour; the bouquet is reserved and shy, savoury and more speaking of almond and toasted bread and nuts than floral varietal scents. The wine is quite full in the mouth, rich and dry, savoury and long, with breadth as well as length. Refreshing acidity lasts. A fuller and less refined style, generous and rewarding, the effect of barrel time apparent in the aroma/flavour spectrum as well as the mouth-feel. 12.5%
