Medium-light yellow colour; the bouquet is complex and detailed, savoury and takes gewûrz to a more interesting place than pure varietal fruitiness. Candied lemon, acacia honey, almond meal, subtle spices and tropical fruit hints hover in the background. The palate is tremendously rich and full, powerful and concentrated, with substantial sweetness and a judicious touch of phenolics adding grip and backbone but also a touch of bitterness. A noticeable viscosity in glass and mouth. Great length. A smashing wine indeed. 14% Drink 2022-2029

Lovely fresh pineapple and mangosteen fruit make this a great gewurz, and it is as refined as it is ripe. So succulent, elegant and precise. Very silky texture at the extremely long, polished finish. Still so young! From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
