Medium-deep red-purple colour, remarkably youthful for its age. Aromas of pipe tobacco, dried herbs and sousbois; complex and highly detailed in a savoury, earth-bound way. Liberal oak has been employed. Full bodied and rich, fleshy and sumptuous with depth and breadth and abundant savoury/developing undergrowth/earth and dried herb flavours, backed by ample fine and drying tannins. 11 MAY 2023 Drink 2024–2036
