Medium deep ruby red colour. Aromas of leather, sweet plum, dark berries and some herbal spices. Medium bodied palate, rounded acidity, a youthful but ripe texture, generous fruit and a medium to long finish.
Inky-red. Clean aromas and flavors of dark cherry, plum, herbs and coffee. Then similar flavors, with initially fleshy mouthfeel but then building tannic on the back end. Needs time in the cellar; if you must open a bottle now, remember this benefits a lot from aeration.
