A rich deep colour, showing significant new oak on the nose. Quite a powerful wine with tannins which are a little more prominent than Volnay usually gives – which is explained by the location next to Pommard. The fruit keeps going, inflected with a little blood orange. I like this more with time in the glass. Drink from 2025.
