Louis de Grenelle Saumur Blanc Brut Grande Cuvee, Loire Valley

Brilliant yellow colour with a golden shimmer. Elegant nose developing aromas of tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), and notes of brioche. On the palate, a crisp and concentrated sensation is followed by bittersweet notes of ripe white fruits. Superb harmony. An excellent aperitif wine, this cuvée also goes well with luxurious dishes (foie gras, monkfish, sea bass), pastries and indulgent sorbets.

Winemaker’s Note

90 % Chenin Blanc, 10 % Chardonnay, cool-fermented in stainless steel, followed typically by 18-24 months on lees in bottle, before disgorgement with a Brut dosage.
12.93 % Alc/Vol; 2.4 g/l RS; 4.73 g/l TA.
