Canberra District and cabernet doesn’t seem to fit on paper, but Ken Helm had a vision, loves the variety, figured it out. Here’s a belter. Unique as can be.
Dark plum, brambles, faint spicy/clovey oak, liqourice, sweet earth character. Supple, medium bodied feel in palate, packed with dark plum, kirsch and dusty tannin spreading firmly from mid palate to close. Inward concentration, finesse, impressive length. Tight as, ready for a sleep in cellar. Super.
