Murray Smith is one of the true pioneers of the Orange Vineyard scene. The vineyards were established between 1986 and 1988. The vines are all un-irrigated, close planted, hand pruned and picked to maximise the fruit quality.Murray uses an Artisan approach to making his wine, using minimal handling, an organic approach in the vineyard and only the finest French oak. Canobolas Smith Wines are released with age, love and care and are made in small quantities. The cellar door well worth a visit if you are in Orange.
