Picking a few weks after everyone else, the Fourny brothers were happy with the standard of 2011. The high proportion of reserves in this cuvee helps to lift the fruit presence of crunchy grapefruit zest, beurre bosc pear, apple and subtle complexity of almond spice and honey puffs. A firmly textured finish is accented by tangy, primary acidity in the 2011base, while the 2010 unites rounded balance with the fine mineral texture.
