2022 Nanny Goat Super Nanny Pinot Noir, Central Otago

A graceful and finely poised pinot noir with aromas of red and dark cherry, damson plum, raspberry and pomegranate over hints of leaf litter, cured meats, citrus blossom, crushed mountain herbs, mushroom broth, barrel spice and crushed stone. There's a gentle, graceful arc to the wine's travel with this release. The acidity is fine and bright, tannins fine and al dente, and there's a little more red fruit and spice coming in as the flavours fan out. Drink to 2036.
