Swift hails from the elevated slopes of Orange, NSW. The cool climate and elevated vineyard sites are perfect for the production of traditional method sparkling wines. Hand picked fruit is gently handled and blended to create a range of premium sparkling wines now regarded as some of the best in Australia.
Extended lees aging is a feature of the wines, rewarding with complexity yet retaining freshness and vibrancy. Chardonnay dominates this Rosé, as it does with all the current release Swift wines. Pinot noir adds richness to the palate while importantly offering a light pink rosé blush. It is a dry, savoury wine with a fine line of acid running from start to finish supported by soft strawberry fruit richness.

The first disgorgement of '12. 72 months on lees. 58% chardonnay, the rest pinot; 6g/L dosage. An easy-going, broader expression. Talc, musk stick, pink grapefruit and red plum. This is a floozy. Fresh enough, hanging everything out to ride across an early pleasure curve. Hedonistic, sure. But absolutely delicious.
