2004 Chateau Laballe 50.7% 700ml Armagnac

A vintage with a bright color that is just starting to head in a more golden direction. The fresh and youthful nose is dominated by fruity notes which remind of Blanche d’Armagnac and eau-de-vie while the palate is equally youthful (yet still delicious!) offering a vivid attack, excellent structure, and first rate balance between alcohol and fruity notes. Terrific complexity and class for a young vintage.
