Legend has it that when Seppelt was much larger, a pitched battle would rage between the table and sparkling winemaking teams for the best shiraz. This wine came from the great Imperial Vineyard not far from the winery. It has great colour, and is stacked with blackberry, spice and chocolate flavours - precisely those that the '61 showed at lunch, and at the November '94 tasting. 1000 dozen made.
