Medium to full purple-red; in a heavy, fat, squat bottle that can create logistical difficulties, and a newly-inserted cork with stains down one side are off-putting. The wine is another thing again, marrying intense regional and varietal black fruits on an elegant, medium-bodied palate that finishes with excellent spicy tannins, part fruit, part oak; 250 dozen made.
