A very ripe yet still quite fresh nose expresses itself with notes of rose petals and black cherry that is liberally laced with wet stone notes that can also be found on the rich and unusually full-bodied flavors that possess both excellent volume and real power on the harmonious and explosively long finish. This is a big wine, particularly for an appellation that is typically given to finesse. Drink 2024+
