60 % Merlot

The Cotes de Bordeaux is sourced from premium vineyards across the appellation. There is high proportion of gravel in the clay, which provides excellent drainage for the vines.
The wine smells of vanilla, toast and hazelnuts, as well as a little bit of leather. Has a lovely, rich palate of blackcurrant fruit, with plum and exotic spices and a long, lingering finish.
The Dulon family have been winemakers from father to son for more than 250 years in the Entre Deux Mers area. This is one of the best value red wines in all of Bordeaux, with 2010 being one of the very best vintages in recent history. Grab some of this as there is very little of it left.
