Two blocks of our best Pinot Noir were harvested by hand and fermented in old French oak. Following tirage and secondary fermentation in the bottle, the wine had more than three years ageing on yeast lees to develop complexity and sophistication.
The pale colour resembles pink diamonds. Powerful aromas of toasted brioche, quince blossom & rose petals. A beautifully rich palate of vibrant red fruits and Turkish delight, creaminess and a touch of fine tannin set up a mouth-watering finish.
Salmon-pink; poached strawberries and spices mark a richly robed single vineyard, single block, 100% pinot noir, wine. Arguably, needed a slight chardonnay lift to lift the points higher still, but has plenty going for it.
