'Dark raspberries, cloves, licorice, new leather and menthol literally jump from the glass in the Baudana's 2009 Barolo Cerretta. Here the style is a bit more polished and refined than in the Baudana, but there is plenty of Serralunga volume and breadth. The tannins, acidity and structure are all present, but they are nearly buried by the wine's utterly exquisite fruit.
