Very deep, youthful, bright purple/red colour and a clean, fresh, lively cabernet bouquet, which shows ripe grapes and a stylish oak patina. The palate is medium to full-bodied and firm, tight, focused and very solid, with a drying back-palate and finish. It's quite restrained, taut and stately - not a wine of richness or fruit-sweetness - but superbly elegant and balanced. Cellar! 19 JUN 2015

A blend of Bordeaux varieties: cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot.
Acusp and Thalarn are partially fermented in the 12th century stone vats, whereas Quest is fully fermented there, always maintaining the batches of origin and the varieties that make it up. All our red wines are aged in French oak barrels.
