Chocolate covered cherries, plum, black raspberry liqueur and earthy notes create the bouquet. The wine is structured, powerful, tannic , fresh and deep, finishing with a concentrated blast of sweet, ripe, dark cherries that remains on your palate for at least 40 seconds. Not as sexy as the 2009, but this will be a much longer lived wine. Tasted August, 2013
