80% blend of Bordeaux varieties (51% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon) and 20% Mediterranean varieties (14% Syrah and 6% Malbec), matured in 25% new barrels and 75% in 1 to 3 year-ol -barrels.
The wine is deep and dark garnet red. The nose, complex and precise, opens with wild berry aromas, developing black cherry notes with airing.
The clean, well-balanced and highly complex attack reveals succulent fruit, refined and flavoursome tannins, some spice and a touch of cocoa. The powerful mid-palate builds on notes of cedarwood and eucalyptus to a long luscious, licorice-flavoured finish.
