The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is a very pretty wine. This forward, fruit-driven Brunello offers considerable near and medium-term appeal. Sweet dark cherries, spices, new leather, cedar and vanillin add nuance on the supple, persistent finish. All the elements come together in an effortless, juicy Brunello from Fanti. This is very nicely done. Last tasted Feb 2015; Drink now-2022.
