It's a big, full-bodied, ample wine, with generous flavour and lots of soft tannins. The palate is big and broad and open-knit, the flavour really fills the mouth. Clear crimson-purple; while made using traditional method, the wordy back label doesn't disclose either the date of tirage nor that of disgorgement; it is a gloriously high-toned sparkling shiraz, its spice and licorice flavours highlighted by the secondary fermentation, resulting in elegance and intensity.
