Full crimson-purple; the fragrant, almost flowery, bouquet is followed by an intense, long and complex medium- to full-bodied palate, reflecting an extended maturation in predominantly used French oak; the plum and blackberry fruits have a generous sprinkling of spice and pepper coupled with fine, savoury tannins.

Bright deep red/purple colour. Bright, fresh, plummy aromas. Full-bodied and deep, quite dense and powerful, not soft but good layered tannins, and just needs age to be a very good drink. Full-bodied and generous, also quite elegant. Deep, complete, long. Well worth cellaring.29 APR 2013
