Consistently one of Marlborough’s best Chardonnays with its usual power, purity and obvious streak of chalky minerality. Grapefruit and green apple fruit flavours with subtle bran biscuit and toasted nut characters from yeast autolysis and oak. As good as it is now the wine will age magnificently if past vintages are anything to go by. Great wine 20 MAR 2014
