The colour is a dark red with great depth and youthful hues. The highly complex aromatics greet you as you come towards the glass. The bouquet is intricately filled with savoury meats, spice, chocolate, leather and edges of primary berry fruits. The palate is rich and luscious with ripe, sophisticated developing fruit, firm velvety tannins and seamless, harmonious acidity. This wine is a real pleasure to drink, openly inviting you to your next glass. It's beginning to reveal its true enjoyment potential but give it another 3-5 years before you open too many! Enjoy with Greek lamb or that special rack of lamb.

The colour is a dark red with great depth. The aroma really displays the best characteristics of this ripe vintage. It's full of intense red berry fruit, chocolate, earth and leather. The palate is voluptuous and seductive, initially appearing generous and inviting before revealing the serious structure beneath. Extended maturation both in barrel and bottle before release has allowed the wine to gain some sophistication and grace from what was a very rich and robust vintage.
