Deep garnet. Nose displays perfumed aromas of musk, blackberry and dried herbs followed by a hint of cedar. Palate: The palate is dense and concentrated. Lashings of rich berry fruits, some spice then balanced by fine dark chocolatey tannins on the finish. At 14% its drinking beautifully.
The colour has more purple than Block 6; a more savoury, sombre wine, black fruits to the fore; matured in new and used American and Baltic oak for 20 months.
