The colour is light, but with some purple in its make up; has aromas of plum and cherry (both red and black), the palate with excellent structure, the tannins verging on Burgundian in their texture. In the manner of all good pinots, the fruit lifts and expands on the finish and aftertaste. Will respond well to medium-term cellaring.
