2011 Seresin Memento Riesling Organic, Marlborough

Luscious, mellow Riesling with honey, apricot, mango and exotic wild flower flavours. Still quite fresh and probably offering optimal drinking now although the wine should continue to drink well for a few years yet. Intense with a lingering finish. Made in an off-dry style, with zesty acidity and an alcohol of just 9%, this is a delightfully refreshing Riesling. Handpicked and fermented in stainless steel by natural yeast to give texture and complexity, while preserving the beautiful Riesling character of the fruit. The nose exhibits floral and chalky aromas, alongside hints of beeswax and preserved lemon. The palate is rich and concentrated, with dried peach, lemon and honey notes, and the merest hint of spice.
