A blend of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot and malbec, cabernet sauvignon having the lion's share; spends 18 months in French oak (around 60% new). It purrs like an idling V8 engine in a very expensive car, with ripe cassis, blackberry, mulberry and cedar aromas and flavours, tannins hiding until the accelerator is flattened. No one can doubt the quality or the longevity of this iconic wine.
