Having won gold medals at Perth, Melbourne and Hobart Wine Shows in '13, I cannot imagine why you would worry about entering the Riverina Wine Show '13 other, perhaps, to garner a trophy, which of course, it duly did. It is sourced from individual estate blocks, each made and matured separately in new and used French oak barrels, the best selected for this wine. Deep purple-crimson; it has more structure and oak than the Second Innings, and could well be cellared while you drink Second Innings.
95 points James Halliday
This wine is dark purple with intense aromas of violets, blackberry, plum and clove spice held together with assertive but velvety tannins. A long rich opulent palate complemented and underscored by toasty oak.
