Bright pale yellow. Less floral and more stony on the nose than the ‘regular’ Clos, offering a strong crushed-stone quality to the musky aromas of mint and noble herbs. At once ripe and quite dry in the mouth, initially showing less early personality than the Clos bottling, but opened with air to reveal powerful stone fruit and mineral flavours. This may ultimately be more complex than the Clos but it's much less open to inspection today. Very long and subtle on the aftertaste.
