The 2012 Barolo Albe is a solid entry-level offering from the Vajra family. Crushed flowers, sweet red berries, tobacco, spices and autumn leaves all open up nicely. Mid-weight gracious and open-knit, the 2012 Albe is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years. The 2012 is a bit more forward, so drink it sooner rather than later. Last tasted March 2016; Drink 2016-2022.
