96 points - Bob Campbell (MW) ‘ Giesen now leases the hillside Clayvin vineyard that was once exclusively used by Fromm vineyards. Refined, elegant and quite linear Pinot Noir with dense, ripe plum, cherry and mineral flavours with a seasoning of spice/anise plus an undercurrent of toasty/savoury characters that may be oak derived. The wine is firmly structured and although it can be appreciated now will deliver so much more in a few years time. An absolute bargain at this price. Very limited stocks.
