93 pts – James Suckling
A very clean and focused 2012 with ultra-fine tannins that are ripe and polished. Full-bodied, dense and balanced. Wonderful harmony. Drink or hold. Publish Date: Monday, November 21, 2016
Antonio Galloni says:
Orange peel, mint, sweet red cherry and cranberry give the 2012 much of its lifted, aromatically expressive personality, but the 2012 is far from an easygoing Barbaresco. It packs a serious punch. This is a serious, structured Barbaresco that will improve over the next decade or more, as well as a terrific effort for the year. The 2012 spent 30 months in oak, 70% cask and 30% neutral oak.
