The vines were planted in 1933, dry grown, on their own rootstock and produce such distinctive semillon - the smell of petrichor that smell of rain after a warm spell, the merest hint of toasty complexity. It has the more atypical flavours of lemongrass, lime zest and creamed honey with superfine acidity. Stunning semillon.
