Hand-picked and sorted, fermented in small fermenters with moderate extraction, matured in new and used French oak for 6-8 months. Full crimson-purple; this is a full-bodied shiraz with Frankland River stamped all over it; a deep stream of inky black fruits, licorice, cracked pepper and spice flows through the palate, ultimately arriving at the finish with as much power as it had at the start of its journey. One of the bargains of the year.
