Here the nose is openly sauvage with its notes of forest floor, humus and underbrush adding breadth to the red and dark berry fruit scents. There is good punch, density and minerality to the medium-bodied flavors that deliver both fine depth and length on the delicious and well-balanced finish. This is a lovely Gevrey villages that is firm but not hard or even especially austere. Drink 2020+.
