The Riserva has started Fattoria Le Pupille’s business, being the first wine that was made by the young winery. Made even before the creation of the DOC Morellino (created in 1978), the Riserva is the full territorial expression of Sangiovese and of the wild strength of Maremma.
Intense ruby red. The scents of red fruits are accompanied by refreshing balsamic notes. The aromatic concentration and round body are balanced by a tense and persistent tannin. The aftertaste ends with classic Mediterranean perfumes.
Food Pairing: Perfect with typical Tuscan pasta-based courses, red meat or game, as well as with aged cheeses with mustards.
