Chilled before whole bunch-pressing, 50% MLF, matured for 12 months in French barriques (50% new, 50% second use).
Gleaming yellow-green hue; grapefruit, apple and white peach drive the very expressive and complex palate. A rare chance to see a nine-year old chardonnay.

Hand-picked grapes were chilled to 5 degrees C before being whole bunch-pressed to French barriques (50% new, 50% second use) for wild yeast fermentation and lees contact, partial mlf, 12 months maturation. This, as they might say, is the cat's pyjamas, with its pyrotechnic display of grapefruit-driven fruit flavours, bright acidity and long finish. Is ambling surely along its development path.
