Has retained an utterly exceptional crimson-purple hue. Matured in French oak for 20 months, it comes from the vineyard purchased by Grant Burge in '99 in one of the highest and coolest points of the Barossa Valley. It reflects its place, cassis intermingling with dried bay leaf and the barest hint of mint.
