Silky, supple, fantastic pinot noir. It’s gossamer delicate in texture, fine, long, sleek and yet imbued with pretty pinot noir fragrance and flavours. Set to red cherry, red fleshy plums and perky spice, it wafts from the glass and sits like a soft sheet in the palate, but there’s fine wood and tannin to accompany. Indeed, for all that this wine is breezy and fine, there’s plenty of complexity here too. Right on.
