The 2013 Chambolle -Musigny Village includes about 40% whole-bunch fruit, and Florence Herestyn mentioned that it underwent less pigeage this year. It has a tightly wound, black truffle and cedar-scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, fine acidity and a slight tart, leafy/tertiary finish. This should be drunk over the next 3-6 years. Drink now-2022.
